"Good gelato with some very interesting flavors, some of them closer to a certain ice cream brand from Vermont than the usual Italian fare. If you like “chunks” in your ice cream this is the place for you. I had the coffee + hazelnut and the Procopio, flagship and namesake of the establishment."

"They have probably the best gelato I've ever had. Maybe the best in Italy! I had the pistachio with pistachio crushed nuts, to die for. And I had the Caramelo with nuts and it was even better than the other!!! The owner does something different than all the others. Her flavors just pop out, so rich, and creamy. I've already gone twice and I'm going back again before I leave Florence, Italy!!! You have to try this place!!"

"The best gelato I had in Italy by tenfold! The pistachio is salty, sweet, nutty (of course), and so utterly creamy. I went back every day I was in Florence and I’m still dreaming of it. Everywhere else was so far below how good this gelato was even though their reviews were also amazing. The owner deserves her flowers!"

We had it again today, the chocolate and mango flavor. It's so rich and full of flavor. The mango was so fruity and the chocolate was lush. Yummmm"
